Newsone reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the list of approved and accredited JAMB CBT Centres for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).

On this note, prospective candidates are to note that UTME/DE registration can only be done at accredited centres nationwide. Do not use a Cybercafe!

This online news platform had reported JAMB rescheduled JAMB registration 2022 for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

and Direct Entry for Saturday, February 19 (today) to March 26, 2022.

1.0 2022 UTME/DE APPLICATION

1.1 Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to tertiary institutions in Nigeria for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

THE BOARD HAS RESOLVED TO HENCEFORTH MAKE THE UTME AND DE REGISTRATION PROCESS CASHLESS TO PUT A STOP TO ACTS OF EXTORTION.

FROM THE 2022 UTME AND D.E. EXERCISE, THE BOARD WOULD BE COLLECTING THE APPROVED N700 REGISTRATION FEE ON BEHALF OF THE VARIOUS COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) CENTRES ALONG WITH ITS UTME REGISTRATION FEES AND THEN REMIT WEEKLY WHATEVER IS DUE TO EACH REGISTRATION CENTRE. 

2.0 REGISTRATION PERIOD (UTME/DIRECT ENTRY)
2.1 The period of sale/registration for all candidates (UTME/DE) including those from Foreign Countries is from Saturday, February 19th, 2022.

2.2 PIN vending ends Saturday, March 26th, 2022

3.0 ELIGIBILITY CHECKER

Candidates are advised to check their eligibility for chosen programmes and institutions on ibass.jamb.gov.ng. It is important that candidates check the requirements before commencing the application process. The eligibility checker assists candidates with options of programmes (courses) based on their qualifications

4.0 GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
4.1 The general entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes are five (5) O’Level Credit passes including English Language. In addition, credit in Mathematics is required for science-based and social science programmes. Details are available in the eBrochure which would be given to each Candidate at the JAMB accredited CBT centres and State-Offices. The e-brochure is also available for download  ibass.jamb.gov.ng and on Android Mobile App(JAMB IBASS) from the Google Play store.
