An unidentified curvy Nigerian lady, has taken to social media to profess her unwavering love for award winning singer, Wizkid.

According to her, she had always crushed on the father of three even as a secondary school student, adding that she wasn’t paid to speak good of the singer, but it was necessary for her to express her feelings.

In a video that was shared on Instagram the lady while flaunting her curves, stated that she was ready to give the “Ojuelegba” crooner her butt.

If that could be achieved, then Wike may be up there as a strong contender in 2023. With PDP very weak in the APC controlled South West region and the South East having the lowest voting strength, the South-South, which is the biggest stronghold of the PDP have the best chance of producing the party flag-bearer from the Southern region, there is no better choice for the Presidency from the South-South than Governor Nyesome Wike.

The former Senate President who was consumed by the OTOGE tsunami in Kwara state in the last year General Election is surely one of the underdogs to succeed the current President.

Although the electoral embarrassment he got at the hands of the Kwarans was viewed by many as a permanent political retirement, but just last week, he went back to Ilorin, the Kwara state capital amidst a rousing welcome and he may therefore be planning to stage a political comeback.

Who Is Naira Marley?

Azeez Adeshina Fashola, known professionally as Naira Marley, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is known as the president of his controversial fan base, “Marlians“.

Naira Marley was born in Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria. At the age of 11, he moved to Peckham, South London, England.

He studied at Porlock Hall before attending Walworth School, where he obtained his General Certificate of Secondary Education. Naira Marley graduated with a distinction in business from Peckham Academy. He also studied business law at Crossways College (now Christ the King Sixth Form College).

While growing up, Naira Marley had plans of becoming an MC and a voice-over artist. He began singing in 2014 after discovering his passion for music and was encouraged by close-knit friends to pursue his music career. He released the Max Twigz-assisted track “Marry Juana” before releasing his debut EP Gotta Dance in 2015.

In December 2017, he released the Olamide and Lil Kesh-assisted single “Issa Goal“, which became the theme song for the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The official remix of “Issa Goal” was released on 16 June 2018; it features vocals by Olamide, Lil Kesh, Falz, Simi and Slimcase.

Naira Marley sings in English, Pidgin and Yoruba; his music is a blend of Afrobeats and hip-hop. He derived his stage name from Jamaican singer Bob Marley, whom he admires; his dreadlocks is also a tribute to the singer.

Naira Marley released the Zlatan-assisted track “Am I A Yahoo Boy” on 3 May 2019, and was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that same day.

He released “Soapy” on 27 June 2019, a few days after he was released from prison. On 11 January 2020, he won Viewers’ Choice for “Soapy” at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards.

On 18 December 2019, Naira Marley released his second EP Lord of Lamba which was a mixture of Afrobeats and hip-hop. The EP comprises 6 tracks and features guest artists such as CBlvck, Young John and Mayorkun. Its production was handled by Killertunes, Rexxie and Studio Magic.

During the “Marlian Fest“, which was held at the Eko Hotels and Suites on 30 December 2019, Naira Marley announced the launch of his record label Marlian Records and unveiled CBlvck, Zinoleesky, MohBad, and Fabian Blu as signed acts.

On 10 July 2020, Naira Marley took to his Instagram Page to unveil another act under his label, named: Emo Grae with a new single and visual titled 0903 featuring Buju.

Lyta, a former signee of YBNL, Olamide’s record label, is one of Marlian Music Artists.

Who Is Zlatan Ibile?

Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan Ibile, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, musician, and dancer.

In 2014, he won the Airtel-sponsored One Mic talent show held in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Towards the end of 2018, Zlatan released a single titled “Zanku“, with a new dance routine of the same name.

He was born and raised in Ilorin but has family roots in Ekiti State. In 2011, he graduated with a national diploma in business administration from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.

Zlatan decided to pursue a career in music after graduating from secondary school. When he was 19 years old, he won the Airtel-sponsored “One Mic Campus Tour” music competition, which was held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He gained recognition in the Nigerian music industry after releasing the Olamide-assisted track “My Body” in 2017.

Zlatan gained further exposure following his collaboration with Chinko Ekun and Lil Kesh on the 2018 hit single “Able God”.

Shortly afterward, he dropped “Zanku”, a song that was accompanied by a dance routine of the same name.

Towards the end of 2018, Zlatan released the Davido-assisted track “Osanle”.

In early 2019, he released “Glory” before being featured on Burna Boy’s “Killin Dem”, a track from the latter’s fourth studio album African Giant. Shortly afterward, he was featured on Ceeza Milli’s “Flenjo” and Naira Marley’s “Am I a Yahoo Boy”.

On 26 July 2019, Zlatan announced he signed an endorsement deal with Coca-Cola.

On January 1, 2020, Zlatan took to his Instagram page to announce the launch of his record label ‘Zanku Records‘ without no artists unveiled. Down to February 25, he celebrated his birthday while he announced the numbers and names of acts he signed.

He listed three artists named: Papisnoop, Oberz and Jamopyper, he also announced the official signing of a Videographer/Cinematographer named Visionary Pictures, his Manager ‘Manager Jiggy‘, his Music Producer ‘Rexxie‘ and a PR Consultant ‘Biesloaded‘. He made this announcement with a picture of him and seven other people via his Instagram page.

In May 2019, the EFCC arrested Zlatan and a few others in connection with an alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering. A few days later, he was released on administrative bail.

It’s a known fact, that both songwriters Zlatan ibile and Naira Marley are among the hottest entertainers in the Nigerian music industry. They’re both known for their crazy dance steps. They’re both rich with a huge fan base.

Zabarmari Massacre: Governors Question Security Architecture After 43 Farmers Were Killed By Boko Haram Insurgents

 

The Nigerian Governors’ Forum has reacted to the killing of rice farmers in Borno State by Boko Haram insurgents.

NGF Chairman and Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi who described the killing as “obnoxious, wicked, unwarranted and morally reprehensible”, added that it raises serious questions on the general security situation in the country and around the capability of the nation’s security architecture.

Noting that the forum would “collectively review these issues” at its next meeting to forge the way forward, Fayemi further stated that Boko Haram has been carrying out attacks each time it seems the situation is getting under control.

He said;

“This sad narrative raises serious questions on the general security situation in the country and around the capability of the nation’s security architecture.

“Since insurgency engulfed the country more than a decade ago, each time it seems like the situation is coming under control, the enemy strikes again. This has happened consistently.

“The farmers were attacked while harvesting their produce totally oblivious of the danger that awaits them in nearby bushes. This method is consistent with the senseless bombings of busy markets, bus stations, schools and abattoirs whenever the terrorists feel overpowered by the security operatives or feel their backs against the wall.

“Governors are concerned that the carnage is degenerating beyond explicable limits, yet again, and the catalogue of destruction is not only seeming to be endless and intractable but it has an adverse effect on everything in the state and the country at large.”

The Northern Governors Forum also condemned the killing of the rice farmers. Chairman of the forum and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong averred that the entire country was deeply saddened over the killing of the innocent rice farmers who committed no crime except going to the farm to earn a living.

He described it as a great setback to the efforts of Nigeria to attain domestic sufficiency in rice production as well as food security.

Nigerian Afro-beat singer, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has revealed the secret to attracting God’s blessings and goodness.

The DMW record label leader, who recently went all out to celebrate his 28th birthday, took to Twitter on Sunday morning to share his secret. According to the ‘Fem’ crooner, being good to others will trigger God’s goodness.

Restructuring Is Not As Critical As Hunger And Poverty – Amaechi

 

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has reacted to the calls for restructuring which was recently reignited by the Governors in the South-South region he comes from.

The former Governor of Rivers state who spoke in an interview on Channels Television stated that while the calls for restructuring of the country may not be bad, however tackling hunger and poverty is more critical to the federal government.

Amaechi said;

“If to you what is important is restructuring, I don’t see anything wrong with restructuring but I am saying it is not the most critical problem we have.

“The most critical problem we have is that hunger and poverty are breeding insecurity.

“If you are able to create employment, you create security. If you like hire as many men as you want to hire that are policemen, you would do nothing until you put food in the hands of people.

“When you do not create a legitimate economy, the people will create for themselves an illegitimate economy and be able to feed themselves.”

Admitting that many farmers are unable to go to their farms in some parts of the country, the APC chieftain said Nigeria is facing a kind of insecurity unlike what was obtainable in the past.

Amaechi added;

“We are facing a different kind of insecurity.

“When we were in power as governors, the problem we were facing was Boko Haram. Not is it much more than Boko Haram. We need to address those issues.”

Outrage As Imo State Governor Empowers Unemployed Youth With Rabbits

 

Nigerians on social media have slammed the sitting governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, for giving off rabbits as empowerment scheme for the youths in the state.

Kemi Filani News gathered that the governor, Uzodinma Hope on Friday, 27th November 2020 commissioned Rabbits as Youth Empowerment Scheme in Owerri.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony on Friday, Mr Uzodinma stated that he is determined to involve youths in productive ventures like agriculture that will guarantee their meaningful employment.

He said the program was going to guarantee food security, empower youths and reduce restiveness amongst other benefits.

However, this gesture did not sit well with Nigerians on social media who outrightly condemned the shallow-minded scheme.
