The 2023 Nigerian presidential election is set to take place on February 25th, 2023.

After the primaries, the presidential candidates announced their vice presidential running mates. Abubakar chose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on June 16th, while his main opponents initially picked placeholder running mates before later substituting in substantive nominees. Obi selected former Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed on July 8th, Tinubu picked Senator Kashim Shettima on July 10th, and Kwankwaso chose Pastor Isaac Idahosa on July 14th.
