Please be informed that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has issued a directive to replace the current #200, #500, and #1,000 Notes.

In accordance with this regulation, you are advised to deposit all old banknotes with your bank.

This exercise has already commenced and will last till January 31, 2023.

The new currency will go into circulation and be available at every Bank starting on December 15, 2022.
