Our Schools Are Running On Old & Outdated Materials

The curriculum is outdated and nothing to write home about.. Many Nigerian graduates are trained in School with materials that the World no longer uses.. As such, they hardly fit in when they get to the labour market after they left school.

Our Computer Science Student Are Terrible

Permit me to use Computer Science department as a case study on this issue.

Any time I come across any Computer Science student in a Nigerian university or Polytechnic, I used to advise them to train theirselves via Google or Youtube instead of focusing on what they are being taught in School only.

Imagine, they are still teaching Computer Science students how to use FOTRAN in 2021 

A programming language that the rest of the World has forgotten is what Nigerian institutions are still romancing and failing student over..

FOTRAN that cannot be used in writing a functional code for Calculator again  This Country na cruise abeg.

Except you want to deceive yourself.. 99.9% of us here have learnt something more beneficial to our life on Google and Youtube than what we were taught in School and will continue to learn.
